Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said the main duty of the interim government is to bring Sheikh Hasina back and ensure she faces trial. He made the remarks on Saturday around 11:30am while speaking as the chief discussant at a seminar titled “Aspirations of the July Revolution and the Media” at Islamic University in Kushtia.
Shafiqul Alam said that if the nation remains vocal and keeps up pressure, Sheikh Hasina will be brought back. He added that just as her father’s killers were tracked down and brought back, the interim government and the next government would have the key responsibility of bringing Sheikh Hasina back to face justice. He said the interim government is working to create every possible form of international pressure.
