Considering the physical condition of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, doctors are conducting the necessary medical examinations every day and providing her with appropriate treatment. She is receiving round-the-clock care from a medical board led by Professor John Patrick Kennedy at the specialized private hospital, The London Clinic, in London.
Former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's personal physician, Dr. A. Z. M. Zahid Hossain, confirmed the matter to Prothom Alo on Saturday night. Khaleda Zia arrived in London on January 8 for advanced medical treatment. On the same day, she was taken directly from Heathrow Airport to The London Clinic, where she was admitted. Since then, she has remained under the supervision of Professor John Patrick Kennedy and the hospital's medical board.
Considering Khaleda Zia's physical condition, doctors continue to carry out necessary examinations on a daily basis and provide continuous medical care. She remains under close observation by the specialist medical board at The London Clinic.
Her personal physician said her treatment is progressing under constant monitoring, and the medical team is taking all necessary measures according to her condition.
