DHANGADHI, NEPAL– Seven attendees of the same religious congregation from which twelve others were previously diagnosed COVID-19 positive have been quarantined in Kaliali district on Monday, reports The Himalayan Times.
The seven were rescued by the police after coming in contact with local administration. They were subsequently sent for a health check-up to Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi. They have then been quarantined at the Dhangadhi Stadium facility. Their throat swabs were collected prior to quarantine.
The religious congregation which they all participated in, took place at Saptari district while the prior twelve people were diagnosed in Udayapur. They consisted of eleven Indian Nationals and a Nepali man.
