WhatsApp Will Stop Working on These Phones at the Beginning of the New Year

Starting in early 2025, WhatsApp will no longer be supported on certain older smartphones. Meta has made this decision to maintain compatibility with newer features, security updates, and modern operating systems, while older hardware and software no longer meet the required standards.

Phones that will lose WhatsApp support from January 2025:

Samsung: Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Ace 3, Galaxy S4 Mini

Sony: Xperia Z, Xperia SP, Xperia T, Xperia V

Motorola: Moto G (1st Gen), Razr HD, Moto E (2014)

HTC: One X, One X+, Desire 500, Desire 601

LG: Optimus G, Nexus 4, G2 Mini, L90
